8cm Mini Discs work in the same way as standard 12cm discs, but they are only 8cm in diameter. Their small size means they can be easily packaged in a retail environment and suited to situations where the disc is to be packaged with other oddly shaped items.
Mini Discs are suitable for data, audio or video applications and can be supplied blank as recordable discs for you to burn. The 8cm Mini CD has a capacity of 180MB and the 8cm Mini DVD has 1.2GB capacity.
